Carnival Concerts | Overview
About the Carnival Concerts
The 2008 Carnival Concert will commence on Monday 29th September and run until Saturday 11th October, tickets priced at £9.50 each with the first night show at a reduced price of £6 per seat.
There has been a change to the number of nights this year to allow for an extra full dress rehearsal prior to the opening night on Monday 29th September.
The Concerts start at 7pm on weekday nights and 6pm at weekends, the show lasts approximately 4 hours.
The Carnival Concerts act as a great warm up for the clubs for their dance routines and choreography before the main Carnival event and runs for 13 nights. The Concert is itself a great spectacle, each night always sells out and has a prestigious local following.
Between each act from the 13 carnival clubs and 2 dance troupes that participate "front of curtain" acts fill the time with music, singing and magic tricks to entertain the audience.
